People have been speculating that the Hollywood ace is filming his latest film ‘Infinite’ at the site
Has Mark Wahlberg been filming at Farnborough Airport? Hollywood actor Mark Wahlberg has posted a picture from inside an airport hangar amid rumours that he is currently filming his next project at Farnborough Airport.
The 48-year-old put a picture up on his Twitter, Instagram and Facebook pages on Thursday morning (September 19) of himself seemingly alongside director Antoine Fuqua on the set of action thriller ‘Infinite’.
It has added fuel to the fire of speculation that filming is currently taking place at the Hampshire site, with pictures taken on Wednesday (September 18) showing a sports car being towed by a camera truck along part of the airport.
Although nothing has been confirmed, many on social media have been adding to the rumours, including some in the replies to the photograph.
On Facebook, one said: “Farnborough has been super excited to have you today Mark! Can’t wait to see the movie.”
For those looking closely at the picture posted by Wahlberg, it could be argued that the Aston Martin vehicle in the shot looks very similar to the car photographed being towed through the airport.
According to IMDb, the film will be premiering next year and is an adaption of the 2009 novel ‘The Reincarnationist Papers’, a book based on a secret society of people who are repeatedly incarnated with memories of their past lives.
The novel focuses on one man who discovers that his hallucinations are actually visions from past lives as he battles to defeat a villain.

Other shoots to have taken place in recent months include Jurassic World, multiple music videos and Jessie J using the space for pre-tour rehearsals.
Heading further afield, plenty of high-grossing films have been filmed across Surrey and north Hampshire, including Skyfall at Hankley Common and Harry Potter & The Goblet of Fire at Virginia Water Lake.
TAG Farnborough Airport was previously contacted for confirmation, but said it does not comment “on any customers using our facility”. Paramount Pictures was also contacted for more information.
